African Sun group chief executive officer Shingi Munyeza has resigned from the board of listed property group Dawn Properties.
Munyeza said his resignation would allow the remaining shareholder to persue a growth startegy for the group outside its current exposure to the tourism sector through his company.
He however denied his decision to leave the company board had anything to do with his decision to register a bond using Dawn's Crown Plaza property without its approval.
Dawn property is an off shoot of then Zimbabwe Sun which was listed to allow shareholders to unlock value in its property portfolio.
