The Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai on Monday summomed  Hwange Colliery board.Although details of who attended the meeting were not available ,i for one welcomed the move as the coal producer really needs to put its house in order considering it failure to meet local demand for its coal.The coal shortage has resulted in companies resorting to imports.

The latest development also comes barely a month after it went cap in hand for a US$100 million to recapitalise from government.

Hwange yesterday traded at Us69 cents.
