Where am I? Home Economy Economy 2010 National Budget date set
" He said the 2010 Budget would be growth-oriented in the wake of the stability so far achieved by the inclusive Government."
biti2010 National Budget Date Set_THE 2010 National Budget will be presented in Parliament on December 2, 2009, Finance Minister Tendai Biti said.

Biti confirmed the dates of the Budget presentation in the House of Assembly last Thursday during debate on the Public Finance Management Bill.

He said the 2010 Budget would be growth-oriented in the wake of the stability so far achieved by the inclusive Government.

The International Monetary Fund projected this year that Zimbabwe’s economy would grow by an average 3 percent next year.

Biti added the Budget would also address the use of the South African rand as the currency of reference in the multi-currency system adopted by the Government.
