ZIMBABWE’S inflation declined by 0.8% to 5,3% as at June, the Central Statistics Office said.

The figure was 6.1% in May while the month-on-month rate eased to -0.1%, shedding 0.4%.

The decline was attributed to a 1.18% decline in the prices of food and non alcoholic beverages.
