The Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE) remains subdued as investors are sceptical about the future prospects of the economy as a whole.
Only $916,383.94 worth of shares went under the hummer in yesterday`s trading session. There were no gains recorded as it was a sellers market as investors rushed to liquidate their positions.
Out of the 35 counters that traded today, 24 (69%) registered losses.
The industrials closed weaker putting off 7.58 points (4.8%) to 150.48 points on back of losses across the board.
The mining index was down 6.43 points (3%) at 190.57 points. Coal miner Hwange was down US1c (3.8%) at US25c whilst Bindura retreated US0.6c
(2.5%) to close at US23c.
